Discussion: This compound layered deposition situated as shown above. It contained numerous clay balls, stones like artefacts. However overlays one of the ovens in the south-west corner of the building. It can almost be interpreted as a kind of collapsed top part of the oven but there were not burning evidence so much.

Nb/ in post ex, this sequence of 5118/5119 and 5117 was moved to below basin 521 on the basis that it appeared to represent the original function of this feature which was missed during excavation, and shows a hearth feature remodelled as a plaster basin

Definition: By the accumlation against south wall 

Execution: By the pick axe and trowel 

Condition: Damp 

Consistency: Moderately loose 

Colour: Light brown to greyey 

Texture: Silt-clay but density of clay is high (>50%) 

Bedding: Compound 

Inclusions: Small stone particles, clay balls, med size stones, charcoal, plaster and ash 

Post-depositional Features: Layered 

Basal Boundary: Anthropo/ sharp
