2nd packing of the burial lid-cut into F.162: It is still difficult to determine which floor was cut into for this unit. The profile resulting from the excavation of F.162 was cleaned, drawn and photographed in order to clarify this. The north and south and western edges of this packing unit are clearly defined from the floor underneath it.
The eastern edge of the unit is in the profile of the baulk and has therefore not been excavated.
After discussion w/Ruth and Mira, this burial may represent the 2nd cut into the original floor ( of a minimum of three). The 1st cut was the child's burial removed in 99 season.
Unit was extended under baulk after its removal. Eastern edge of burial cut is now clear.
