Discussion: The unit was distinguished below 7046 after cleaning the trench in 2002 as it occurred that 7046 was not a wall. 7050 was the N part of this "wall". It consisted of a burnt clay (burnt mud brick wall?), at the bottom lenses of ashy, dark layers occurred (burnt wooden constructions- the same as unit 7157 which is most probably a part of the same wall (screen). 

 

Recognition: by consistency and color- burnt clay 

Definition: clear boundaries 

Execution: trowel, mattock 

Condition: hot, dry 

Consistency: strong, compact 

Colour: orange, darker (brown) in the centre, at the base ashy, charcoal lenses, same as unit 7157 

Texture: burnt clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: obsidian 

Post-depositional Features: N/A 

Basal Boundary: sharp anthropic boundary
