Discussion: mixed, soft but clumpy deposit east of 7228 (and probably the same thing). Ashy deposit associated with the same surface as (7228) but east of 533.5E it overlies a more homogenous, silty fill that still contains Byzantine artefacts. 

Recognition: mixed material east of (7228). Initially thought to be somewhat different but an excavation was much the same and can be regarded as the same as (7228)
