Discussion: Deposit probably represents a room fill as it directly overlies a plaster surface (7735). Indeed, this is how this unit was defined - as overlying (7735) and consequently excavated as such. Suggest this deposit represents infilling of this space - artefacts distributed throughout material although deposit has been disturbed by animal activity. Unit indicates disuse and abandonment of this space, a deposit. A similar deposit must exist to the south,which also overlies the plaster surface which continues into 2001 trench. 

Recognition: Colour differed from (7297). Darker. 

Definition: Clear base to dep - overlies plaster surface (7735) 

Execution: Trowel. Spits and chasing plaster surface. 

Condition: Dry 

Consistency: Friable 

Colour: Mýd orange brown 

Texture: Silty loam 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Pot, obsidian, bone. 

Post-depositional Features: Root and animal disturbance. 

Basal Boundary: Sharp, smooth anthropogenic, sloped.
