Unit 7820
Category: layer dug in 2003
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 0.54 x 0.44 x 0,18
Discussion: On the second level of exploration of a big pit in SW corner of the trench, an oval smaller distinctive pit has been noticed. It differed in consistency (much looser than around) and especially in color. The unit is surrounded by animal burrowings- perhaps an animal tried to get trough the soil of another unit (7693) which is much more copact but it was too difficult so the burrowings are along the boundaries where the soil was looser.
Basal boundary is wavy because of destroyed CBM- perhaps dark, damaged bricks- very similar to those at the base of unit 7691, which is next to unit 7820.
