Unit 7923
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: wall fall
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: homogeneous
Description: collapsed plastered bricks with no pattern, sitting atop room fill
Discussion: Fast track.
This unit looked different enough from U.7913 (room fill) to treat it seperately. It consisted of several plaster bricks lying in an inconsistent pattern that was not attached to a wall or any other structure. The bricks were not in any obvious shape and were lying on top of room fill. We concluded that it was just wall fall- given its close proximity to the north wall and the plastered bin (U. 7921).
Volume of unit estimated in PX (DE 18/07/09). I believe the unit to have been 100% dry sieved, but not sure of this!
