This layer- possibly beginning at one of the surfaces within the western subdivision was taken out to determine its relatipnship to the platform directly to its south.
The thin gray layer was on a reddish-brown layer which in turn gave way to mixed fill.
Perhaps 7954 and 7921 represent two phases of filling of this corner. This unit produced the largest quantity of pottery than the rest of the space. It also had a high concentration of animal bone, which turned out to have high qualtities of fish, bird (3 species and 1 with a nearly complete wing) and a pig mandible. The botanical, phytolith and lithic results were the same as the rest of our rom fill units.
