Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: bin; Deposition: homogeneous

Description: unexcavated, so unclear what sort of deposit the unit consists of

Discussion: This unit is an unexcavated area that is most probably fill. It is the small area inbetween a number of truncated bin walls. 7966, a plaster block/partition wall is on the unit's eastern edge, and the western edge is formed by the diagonal partition wall, unit 7965. The unit is flush with the tops of these two units until its southern end, where the unit goes vertical against the southern wall, where the eastern edge is formed by the plaster layering of truncated wall unit 7964. The upper portion of the vertical area looks like fill, but the lower portion seems to be orange mudbrick, though it is not attached to any wall, and it is unclear if this is just wall fall or is something more meaningfull. The unit is about 9 cm thick against the wall, and forms an "L" shape. The larger partion wall, feature 1659 forms the western edge of the vertical portion of the unit.
The dirt inside unit 7968 is very loose and looks like typical fill for space 100. In the southern edge, a large piece of charcoal still remains insitu, because the unit remains unexcavated. Also because this unit was never excavated, it is unclear how deep the unit goes or what sort of relationship the space has to the numerous walls around it, or even what sort of surface may be below the fill..

Recognition: unplastered area between units 7965, 7966, 7964 and feature 1659.

Definition: unexcavated fill between truncated partition walls
