Unit 8452
Category: layer dug in 2002
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: packing
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Removal of another layer in the quadrant of the kitchen. It comprised grayish packing (under U. 8438) and floor below (that's why samples 3-5 were taken in this unit). Floor was only partly preserved, mostly in the southern part of the unit, while in the central part it was completely destroyed. To the west this floor was impossible to distinguish from the packing lying underneath because of the heat to which these layers were exposed.
We managed to determine (to some extent) the relation between the "bench" (F. 792) which is sitting on the level revealed when this unit was removed (grayish and orange packing - mixed).
The relation with the floors in the central house area was encleared as well, os the next unit will be continuation of this one.
