Discussion: The unit consits of the top soil in sp. 226 and surrounding walls. We removed an arbitrary layer 5 to 25 cm thick. It was ashy soil mixed with rubble material, pieces of mudbricks, animal bones, obsidian flakes, few pottery sherds and stones. We are trying to define the shape and the boundaries of the space, which is supposedly a street/courtyard (?) between the buildings.
