Discussion: An arbitrary layertaken off the midden deposit filling the sp. 226 (street). Taken off in a spit of about 10 cm in depth. Typical midden deposit, heavily mixed with construction rubble towards the N extent of the unit. Even though this unit stratigraphically lies beneath several other units, it was decided to begin with its removal in order to clarify the situation within the space and to reveal the surrounding walls.
A complete stamp seal with geometric design and a pottery sherd with a projection shaped as an animal (bull's) head (the horns are broken) came from this layer (the dry sieve). Several stone beads were found while dry sieving.
The stamp seal, x1 is envanter 5
No plan and no levels. (FS 24.6.09). Unit may be roughly equivalent to 12110 in Sp 275. Depth taken from this discussion CAH 09/12/09.
