Unit 8962
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: layer
Data Category Information: Location: building
Discussion: It is a light and firm layer in the middle of an extension - in its E part. The layer was visible in W section of the main trench. On the surface of the extension it was first noticed as a loongitudinal layer (which can be seen in the plan 04/834). Later it occured that under dark layer formed by the activity of high temperature (unit 10925) the same light and firm layer of unit 8962 continued.
This is why the shape of unit 8962 shown in the plan 04/834 differs from its shape in the sketch plan above.
Underneath a compact floor was found. The layer of unit 8962 was pulling out from it.
