This is a large ad deep pit located in the southern part of the extension trench. Its infill is composed of two layers separated arbitrary due to large size of the pit. Its base was made of six small circular and relatively shallow flat-bottomed pits. The may have been used to place large vessels such as pits or jars. The pit truncates two Neolithic burials. One of them (feature 1911) is placed directly on top of the Neolithic wall, probably from phase II, while the other (feature 1912) in layer older than phase I, probably also from phase II. The pit is at the same leve as feature 1910 (another deep and trapezoid in section pit), however stratigraphic relationsd between those two features were impossible to define. |
