This is a large and deep pit, post-Neolithic in date, situated in southern part of the extesion trench. It is trapezoidal in section with 130 cm in diameter at the bottom and 110 cm in diameter at the top. Upper part of the pit has been destroyed by younger kiln recorded as feature 1913. The pit is a the same level as featur 1909 (another large pit). Unfourtinately, stratigraphic relations between these two features were impossible to define. |
