The pit truncated NE corner of B.121. It was pretty deep and consisted of parallell layers of sandy soil of mixed colour. It was a dearth of finds in the pit. The cut was clearly visible. Considering the depth of the pit and its position, it is possible that it may have comprised a part of F.3939 (big pre-hellenistic pit) and it functioned as a sort of basement. |
