The unearthed wall was defined within a trench TPC.G that was opened within the framework of research aiming to examine the outlines of as well as the relationship between the buildings of the upper levels exposed during the 1960’s excavation seasons. It is believed to be a north-west corner of an annex of building A.III.4 that was presented on Mellaart’s plans of Level III. The feature seems to be half-brick thick wall that is made up of dark orange – light brown mud bricks with a dominant sand content. The difference between the bricks and the mortar was more or less clear, the later having mid-grey colour. |
