Description: MEDIUM TRACK 

Discussion: Northern fill of hearth cut 10245. Clean clay (as opposed to fill 10240 which is next to it). No finds on site because all of it was sent down to flotation.
The burnt layer under it (10242) contains more red clay ( as opposed to the black ash, charcoal, charcoal predominant under 10240.
?!? Might be the fireing chamber backfill ?!
