Unit description: Small unit made up of dry sieve and flotation (97). Mostly sheep size. Cattle size fragments include rib, horncore fragments and vertebrae fragments. Recordables include a horse unfused humerus, unfused radius and unfused metacarpal, unfused calcaneus (could be from one individual). There was also evidence of pig from loose teeth, a mandible and an unfused second phalanx. A unfused thoracic vertebrae, unfused horse radius, unfused cattle second phalanx, and unfused metacarpal were sub-bagged for possible C14 dating. There was a small amount of burning and a small amount of gnawing present. Flotation-mainly sheep size fragments and unidentifiable scrap material. Scrap weight =188.
