Category: Layer dug in 2006
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Midden fill of pit
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Layer is made up of midden material combined with natueral slumping. The midden material is probably domestic waste material and would be similar to unit layer 12511, the layer before it. The slumping is especially evident to the north of the layer. Here domestic waste material is seen to be mixed with some burnt rubble from the reddish burnt dumping layer in the baulk (unit 12532).
