Unit 12875
Category: Skeleton dug in 2006
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: burial
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: neolithic skeleton of a young male. The body is flexed on its left side. The skeleton was found deep (40cm) below the burial cut and extended beyond the northern bounderies of the cut. The left arm and the feet which were found under the cut suggest the original burial cut , though clear, may not have accomandated the burial. Phytoliths are present on many part of the body indicating banding 2 or 3 different cord seemed to be used naded around the abdomen an the back so there is concentration of phytolith between the arms. There was also brown residue of possible leather(?) found front of the chest contained d single obsidian blade.
The bones are in very fragmented and bad condition . The dancped caused mostly by roots activities and pressure of soil.
