Interpretive Categories: floor/surface
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: occupation; Deposition: composite (floor/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Discussion: With in the first south-west grid of unit 1357.
Along the southern wall side, about 2-3 cm away from plastered wall, I have found a human bone which is a humerus, upper part of the arm. More than this I have found some obsidian pieces. Later on at about 5 cm, I have changed unit number and dug though bottom in unit 1360 (see1360).
With in this unit 1357 just across the south west square I have excavated an equal square on the Northern quarter of the unit. With in this square I have found a piece of broken bone point. The soil came from this NE square was completely different from SW square. In NE. the soil was harder than the soft sandy soil of SW square.

Unit description: Small unit, with small pieces of mostly sheep-size animals. Rather weathered, little burning. Sample 3 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Small sample with substantial amount of fish. Otherwise, small bits of mostly sheep-size bone. No burning. Weathering varies from very fresh to rather rolled/trampled. Looks like floor with some bone from activities just before fill, or sweepings. Sample 6 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Similar, but smaller, less fish. Some burning. Variety of weathering, but lacks the super fresh pieces of sample 3. Sample 13 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. This sample is rather larger, nearly all of it tiny trampled fragments, many of them covered with a plastery film. A couple of 2-3 cm pieces, and a fair amount of fish. Looks like dirty floor. Sample 18 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Very similar to sample 3. Small, range of weathering with some very fresh, little burning, no plastery coating. Some fish, although less than sample 3. Last number = 70Figurine Records: No Ground Stone Records: Yes
