Dimensions: 0.20m x 1.12m x (0.15m - 0.18m) 

Discussion: Removal of flooring material beneath 1095, possibly applied contemporary to 1503 as these are difficult to distinguish where they join. A small block was left unexcavated for further sampling for micromorphology (see sketch plan) . Layering of brown and whitish material of varying thickness less highly layered than wall plaster. Both lie above wall feature 51.

Colour: 2.5Y 5/3 (wet), 2.5Y 6/2 (dry) 

Texture: Silty clay brown 

Bedding: Layered 

Inclusions: 1% charcoal (7mm) ,2% bone (45mm) 

Post-depositional Features: Some salt encrustation 

Basal Boundary: Sharp,smooth anthropogenic boundary
