Discussion: This fill is on top of 18489 in the cut (18497) this is lighter in colour than 18489 and more firm it is probably the mix if the infill for (18496) skeleton and the make up of floor 18486. 

Recognition: texture and colour but not so clear 

Definition: by the cut and the other fill 

Execution: leaf trowel , trowel 

Condition: hot 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: light and mid grey, light brownish grey,heterogeneus different colour bits= orange plaster white, charcoal black, dark brown 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: tiny stones, clay flecks,charcoal pieces, shell pieces 

Post-depositional Features: susuck holes , bug holes - a lot of root action 

Basal Boundary: not sharp but clear enough
