Discussion: Unit is a deposit of loose but closely concentrated burned organic material, wood charcoal, with bits of silty material forming a circular shape, surrounded by firable pale orange clay, also in a circular shape, unit 19686. This unit is located in a line running NS of about 7 box timber posts and surrounding clay and circular timber posts. This unit represents the remnants of a burned wooden circular post located in the timber partition wall feature 3527. This smaller circular post is located near the other circular posts near the Northern most end of the building. It is bordered in the south by a series of three large box timber posts. This arrangement could have been intedned as decorative with rectangles in the middle and circles on the edges.
