Unit 21184
Category: Layer dug in 2014
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: infill of foundation trench
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: foundation cut; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This is an infill of foundation trench in Building 129. It has been located next to the three recorded walls belonging to this building (Northern wall – F. 7558, Western wall – F.7559, and Southern wall – F. 7560). It has been recorded as one unit due to its location and difficulties in identification of different infill and cut for each wall. The infill was easy to distinguished in Northern part while in Western part and partially in southern part it has been hard to record its limits. It has been excavated with mattocks and hand axe due to firm and compact consistency of the soil. The basal boundary was clearly defined by the bottom of each wall.
