Discussion: Mid-grey bricks (21684) along with mortar (21686) constituted components of the constructional element assigned under the number F.7861. The described mud-brick structure was discovered after taking down the walls of B.77 in 2014. However, at that time limited scope of the research and specific colour of the bricks allowed to interpret them as parts of Eastern (F.7149) and Northern (F.7584) walls of the underlying B.132.
In the course of further works in 2015 carrying out within the space 531 (B.132) it appeared that the construction (F.7861) should be actually considered as separate construction set within the cut (21699). Altogether were performed to stabilize the ground and preparing proper solid and even base for the erection of the walls (Northern-3094 and Eastern-3095) of B.77. Within the feature one may count 6 courses of bricks that were recognized above the cut (21699) and 2 additional courses within the previously performed ditch.
Worth noticing is that arbitrary section line set along the bricks (21684) allowed to recognize specification of the building material which most probably remained wet or (using general term) more plastic when it was used as , and that caused the deformations (see also section orthophoto: B132_2015_NEcorner_004E), after setting on top of them the Northern and Eastern wall of B.77. It seems that the construction of the mentioned building during its occupational phase sank gradually due to process of compressing downwards resulted by the weight of the whole structure.

Finds Room Information:

All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.

X Finds Material: nothing recorded

Finds Material Stored: nothing recorded
