Category: Layer dug in 2015
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Patches of plaster on dirty floor
Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: white clay; Deposition: composite (floors/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Discussion: Patches of plaster concentrated in the northeastern edge of the dirty floor, lapping up onto the ledge of the platform to its east (F. 7401) and also presented in bits in the northern edge of the floor, next to the bench F. 7401. A fine and larger patch of plaster near the burrow adjacent to the eastern border of the hearth was also excavated. After removing this layer of plaster we shall proceed to the excavation of one more sequence of the dirty floor lying underneath, but only after it is unlocked by the ladder platform located in the southeastern corner of Sp. 135.
