Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous

Description: This the fill of Burial F.8455, in the SW of U.23277, in the Estern edge of the 3 x 4m trench made within it U.23277, in space 620 (See also discussion of U.23227).

Discussion: This is the fill of burial F.8455. This feature has not been fully excavated; see discussion within F.8455. The fill of this burial seems to extend beyond the current excavation pit and seem to be the same in colour and consistency as the fill of burial F. 8451 (U.23233. The current author suggests that this fill continues beyond and slightly below from where the excavations stopped, and should be considered to be contained within the same pit cut as F.8455. Namely, it is suggested that there is a wider pit cut into midden U.23227 (-see also description for this unit and discussion for F.8455), the edges of which have been identified in the East, but not in the West, or the South, containing fill U.23233 and U.23255. It is suspected that the Northern edges of that cut were truncated from features dug through from above (such as F.8204 and F.8203, and others), and were further lost because of the use of pick axe in the beginning of the excavation of U.23227, for the excavation aims to be achieved. No finds associated with this fill were found within the assumed limits of F.8455.
