Data Category Information: Location: external; Deposition: coarsely bedded (dumps)

Discussion: This unit was composed of midden material. Initially thought to have been a mixed layer as some post-neolithic sherds appear in the matrix. This may be due to shallow pitting activities of animal burrowing. The excavation of the unit lent itself to a finely defined wall to the east. The basal boundary of the unit is the infill of B. 123. 

Consistency: Friable. 

Colour: Dark greyish brown. 

Texture: Silty clay loam. 

Bedding: Massive. 

Inclusions: Large (1-2 cm2) charcoal, orange clay aggregates, plaster pieces, light brown clay aggregates - really heterogeneous midden mixed infill - like soil. 

Post-depositional Features: Animal, plant and insect activity. 

Basal Boundary: Arbitrary.
