Discussion: This unit is a layer situated on the side of the hearth. It didn't cover all the side of the hearth, just a part of the south side and the west side. It is a part of the infill of the hearth. The layer covered maybe at the beginning all the sides of the hearth, but as the different layers in the hearth are very fragile the rest of the layer u.30989 possibly disappear.

Note on samples. No flotation sample taken, but sample number S2 was taken before it was realized that the soil would not be enough for all samples.
