Discussion: The layer U.32782 refers to the group of multi-laminated dirty floors situated in the South-Eastern part of the Sp.531. The floors had been recorded below their counterpart assigned under the separate unit No. 32764. The division between the two mentioned strata was based on the identification of the sequences related with the use of the bench F.7879 as well as the construction/rim U.32787 of the Hearth F.8327 whose execution (cut 32788) truncated the surrounded floors. As such the accumulation and deposition of the dirty floors U.32782 must have preceded setting of the mentioned hearth.
The densely packed layers of the dirt characterized by the lack of plastered laminations. However, within the entire southern part of the described layer there were more thick clayish layers that divided subsequent laminations of the ashy dirt. Comparing the others dirty floors excavated previously in SE part of the Sp.531, the layer 32782 was the most compact and packed with clay components.
The excavation of the floors had been conducted by the use of the GRID. The main axis of the Grid was established along Southern wall (F.3679) of the building, whose EW alignment positioned the further division of the room.
The sampling process relayed in collecting two samples from each of 1m x 1m square. One of the sample was taken specifically for Phytolith analyzes and it was recorded with ODD digit number: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11. The rest part of the explored sediment within squared meter had been taken as flotation sample, enumerated conventionally by EVEN digit number: 2, 4, 8, 10, 12.

Finds Room Information:

All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.
