Area: South
Interpretive Categories: plastering around bin, platform rendering
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 0.94 m E/W x 0.8 m N/S x max 0.04 m thick
Discussion: Plaster scim overlying mixed plaster and silt feature beneath and following contours of cut feature (3658).
Recognition: White plaster deposit at base of bin 257 in N. Not sure at first whether it was plaster base of bin or other feature.
Definition: Overlies other plaster/silt layers to W. Abutts plaster on wall to S. Continues into baulk section in E where it is overlain by other plaster + grey silt layers. Tapers and stops to N just before where bin walls were.
Execution: Leaf and baulk sectioned in S + N.

Post-depositional Features: salts, possibly top was truncated by (3352) but not known, truncated SE by (2707)
Basal Boundary: surface; smooth, slightly concave, anthropogenic; base; difficult to follow against other plaster layer (over exc.in SW) but generally distinct as layer below has charcoal lenses, smooth, curved down onto bowl shape in E
