Discussion: Tenth layer of floor lenses on platform F239.

Plaster layer (labelled 20 on plan 98-639) seems to be two lenses of darker material, one under plaster layer, one in the plaster, but this is discontinuous. Darker layers not seen in section. 

Recognition: Floor of platform. Colour/texture changes. 

Definition: Defined by limit of excavation. 

Execution: Leaf trowel and patience. 

Condition: Dry. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: 10 YR 8/2 very pale brown 

Texture: ashy clay 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: burnt clay fragments 

Post-depositional Features: animal hole SE corner 

Basal Boundary: pitted, cracked
