Discussion: Fourteenth layer of floor lenses, platform F239.

Reddish brown layer (labelled 29 on plan 98-639); dark very fine/thin layer (30 on plan).

Impossible to separate the two lenses. They are patchy and discontinuous. 

Recognition: Floor of platform. Colour/texture changes. 

Definition: Defined by limit of excavation. 

Execution: Leaf trowel and patience. 

Condition: Dry. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: 10 YR 4/4 dark yellowish brown to 7.5 YR 4/2 

Texture: ashy clay to plastic/greasy ashy clay 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: animal hole SE corner 

Basal Boundary: pitted, discontinous
