Discussion: (4469) was infill overlying possible floor layers (4467). It was a multi-coloured, mixed texture deposit attached to the west face of wall F447. 

 

Recognition: Multi-coloured, mixed deposit, overlying poss. floors. infill. 

Definition: Boundaries with lower deposits, clearly defined by colour. 

Execution: Sectioned and troweled. 

Condition: V. slightly moist. 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: L.orangey brown/off-white/mid brown 

Texture: Slightly clayey silts ( clay <5% ) plaster-silt? v.fine sand <5% 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Charcoal fleck <2% 

Post-depositional Features: V.occ. root activity 

Basal Boundary: Constructional, sharp, prominent, smooth
