Discussion: Small area of floor make-up deposits abutting the west wall of Space 173, towards the south of the space. Heavily truncated, especially by the cut of fire installation F523. 

Recognition: Small patch of material overlying infill and cut by [4906] in the south-west corner of Space 173 

Definition: Colour contrast with lower deposits 

Execution: Trowel from edges 

Condition: Slightly moist, firm and heavily truncated 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: Pale brown and beige 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: <2% charcoal flecks, small clay balls and small obsidian fragments 

Post-depositional Features: Some root disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Clear, smooth, anthropic
