Discussion: Removal of 2nd floor & packing of mid E platform in sp.86. A patch of what looks like folded (faces inwards), painted plaster found in packing & sampled. Basal surface, half, truncated & thereby soft & easy to remove by scraping only.

58 - Blackish compaction layer removed to clayey orange layer below (becomes thicker toward platform edge (0.5 - 1 cm).
59- Taken from the N side of the baulk on mid-E platform. Scraping of surface & taking off upper, ashy layers.
