Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: This was the removal of some baulk that was left behind in the northeast corner, between the plastered platform and the east wall. This baulk is above an unplastered, elevated surface which abutts the plastered platform and extends under more room fill to the south. This unit was mostly room fill with some large animal bones. In the eastern wall of the unit is a greyish mixed deposit which looks like a Byzantine grave cut but is now undefined. This unit was also defined part of the eastern wall while following the plastered wall surface.
Thickness of unit estimated in PX (DE 18/07/09).
