Dimensions: 8x12m 

 

Description: Heavily disturbed soil covering surface of mound. This is removed by hoe and shovel after mechanical digger has removed old spoil from 93/94 lying over North Area. Area of 8x12m is cleaned under wooden shelter. Soil is very loose and dusty with some compacted patches from digger's wheels. 

 

Discussion: Cleaning. Heavily disturbed soil over entire area to be excavated, including all of House 1. Dry Sieve Information: Not dry sieved but may have hand picked finds
