Discussion: This is a layer of room fill in Space 450 (Building 98), taking up the north half of Space 450, following an arbitrary section in the middle of the space. The layer consists of fairly soft silty soil, and constitutes the soil matrix of the ceramic/antler cluster U.15377. The room fill layer included two patchy layers of ash, which were clear in section towards the east, but became harder to detect in the western part. A similar layer of ashes has been identified as U.16951 in Space 340. I seems that the ashes in the two neighbouring spaces are part of the same depositional event, as they are roughly at the same level.
