Unit 20805
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: The layer was distinctly different from the plaster on top and from the plaster beneath in the NW part. However, it was more difficult to separate the layer from the underlaying layer and the walls of the cut in the southern part. In the top of the layer a bone was visible and the human remains team suggested it was a human bone (right hip). However, no more bones were found in layer 20805 and the hip bone seemed to belong to the next layer, rather than to u.20805.
The layer was removed by trowel.
