Discussion: The wall F 3514 was heavily eroded (as it was truncated by Mellaart and exposed for a long time) The the actual structure of the the wall was very hard to document and follow while excavating. The wall was standing directly on F 8003, a very similar foundation wall of Sp 588. 

Consistency: firm (friable where eroded) 

Colour: grey 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: abundant charcoal and white salt flecks 

Post-depositional Features: heavily eroded (especially at the top and N part) 

Basal Boundary: sharp anthropogenic
