Description: silt fill was burned 

Discussion: This unit was recognized by a distinct dark circle when excavating the infill above it (u.21123), that seemed to be burnt soil. The topmost fill seemed to be the darkest, decreasing until we abruptly reached the much lighter infill beneath. In the western corner there was a flat stone that also seemed to be burned. Below it was an unburnt infill suggesting that it lined the bottom of this possible simple fire pit. The fill of the pit (F 7344) was excavated with the trowel and brush in small layers until clean infill was reached.

Bedding: massive
