Description:
2012: Defined in 1993-94 Scrape to North of East Mound. Unexcavated
on plan possibly associated with Space 40
Continued 2014:
Rectangular space, 1,62 x 1,08 m. Northern sideroom of B.128.
Discussion: This space was recognized as a small side room in space 40, in its NW corner. It had a regular rectangular shape. The walls separating it from space 40 in the east were placed on top of infill u.21123, which also was below space 502. Space 39 was most probably made in the same time as sp 502 (also visible in the internal walls construction). Perhaps they can be associated with the grave cluster in space 40 which seems to have belonged to a later house (now called B128).
No entrance was found. Space 39 contained a very badly eroded room infill (U21121) containing few finds. It was eroded from being exposed to trampling since 2012 and previously as close to the ground. Also a lot of animals had infiltrated it. No features were found except of the walls.
