Discussion: This layer is a deposit of orange mud brick material packed into the hearth F. 7957, on top of the last plaster layer of the hearth, before the room fill and abandonment of the building. It was devoid of artifacts and easily distinguishable from the room fill above.

Texture: sandy loam 

Bedding: massive
