Description: U23414 is the eastern structure of Bench F8505, in the North of Long Basin F7778, adjacent to it. It was made of yellow mudbrick and marl with plaster on top.
Discussion: U23414 was the extension of U23425 of Bench F8505 towards the East. One mudbrick was first added to the East of U23425 and then this was further extended with mudbrick and marl. The top and the sides were coated with lime plaster. The purpose of this bench certainly relates to the function of the long Basin F7778 which is placed across this western room of Building 52, in space 576, connecting Wall F2140 and F7776.
