Description: U23421 is a plastered floor and packing, under floor U31409, at the northern side of space 576. It is bordered in the West by Wall F2140; in the East by Wall F7776; in the South by Long Basin F 7778 and in the North by Wall F8506.

Discussion: Floor U 23421 was plastered with a think layer of plaster; there was evidence for regular replastering. The plaster did not survive well close to the Long Basin F 7778, under Bench F8505 or closer to the western wall. The packing of the floor was compact, and uniform througout this unit regarding its consistency. Significantly more packing though was used in the middle and the North of this space, bordered in the South by long Basin F7778; in the North by Wall F.8506; in the West by Wall 2140 and in the East by Wall F7776.. All of these architectural elements (walls and basin) were built upon this floor, U23421
