Discussion: Bricks in wall F2 which go with Mortar 2581.

As the removal of feature 2581 advanced forward N, 2580 appeared in the NW corner as in the sketch plan which suggest that partly collapsed wall and repaired later on or construction in this phase continued from inside the building at least in that corner of the building.

Bricks are 0.85 to 1,3 m long 

Consistency:  

Colour: yellowish red to light brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive, as regognized MB wall 

Inclusions: silicified plant remains 5% and <1 mm 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: sharp, on the mortar
