Dimensions: 8.8 m W-E / 0.4 m N-S / 0.25 m thick 

Description: The texture comparison to the brick highlights the mortar. It has no post depositional features and any foreign material in it. The soil is coarsely crumbly (<4 mm) to fine granular, silty lay to clayey in light brown colour. Contains sand, plant remains and very tiny amounts of charcoal. It is very plastic and sticky. However, it has a sharp edge due to the bricks' shape. Thickness of the mortar is also varied from place to place (see in section 97/167). 

Discussion: Mortar in wall F/4F6 which goes with bricks 2579. As the excavation of the mortar advanced towards the SW corner, it came to the surface.
